Selection Process

Candidates will be evaluated based on their JEE Main rank and will undergo SSB interviews. The interviews will take place in September at various locations including Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam.

Interview Stages:

• Stage 1: Intelligence Test, Picture Perception Test, and Group Discussion.
• Stage 2: Psychological tests, group tests, and personal interviews for those who qualify Stage 1.

Health tests will also be conducted for successful candidates, and final appointments will be made based on merit.

Training and Career Opportunities

Training classes for selected candidates will commence in January 2025. Candidates will be enrolled in B.Tech programs in Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala (Kerala).

Upon successful completion of their training, candidates will receive an engineering degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, and will join the Navy as Sub-Lieutenants.
